Dwight said… - Thanks, Mark. Without your quote, my favorite quote probably would have been the same as yours from Ben Franklin. While I've been home brewing a long time, I'm still a relative novice because there have been long gaps. I did it in my 20s before kids, then when the kids were young, then when they each hit 21 and wanted to do it, and now again that they are starting BeerMenus.com and brewing again as part of that. It's great to see the interest in home brewing really growing across the country. Seems like a typically American thing to do also.

I am expanding my horizons
I am starting a project to turn my storage building into a work area for brewing as I am running out of space in my house for all the stuff I have collected. I started brewing with a Mr. Beer kit and haven't stopped. I soon expanded into 5gal buckets and 10 gal. brewpot and steeping specialty grains. I am currently shopping for all grain equipment and and old upright freezer to set up a minibrew conical fermentor in (with temp controler).
