The members that have joined are truly some of the best beer personalities out there and we want thank you all for joining. We have been very fortunate with the expansion of this site. There Is a Beer for Everybody

Part I: Finding your Beer

Not long ago, I was at a party at a friend's place and happened to overhear an interesting statement: "To me, beer is only the bitter yellow stuff. All those other things that call themselves beer, like that (pointing to a Blue Moon), fall into some other category." The misinformed guest was claiming a wheat beer and many other great styles, do not qualify as beer. Informing misapprehensions such as that, directly relates to the goal

Power to the Beer Drinkers

Beer, Blogging, and the Pursuit of Content

For my first blog entry, I thought it would be appropriate to give some background about this website. Ever since social networks started to pick up steam in 2005, I have had an
interest in this trend. It is a great
way for a community of people to build and share an incredible amount
of
content. After kicking around a few different takes on this phenomenon

Rich, the locals tell me the only way to get it is to drive to where they brew it. You can only buy a case of it at a time. You might need a Flemish person with you also. The monks are very protective. My counterpart has promised that next time I am there he will take me. Good luck if you make a go of it. If your going to try to drive there (don't think you can take the train or cab) let me know if you need directions. I can email them to you. I have heard it is like mother's milk!

Thanks for the support Rich! I love this site! Not only will this give my blog better visibility (hopefully), but I've been dying to find another social networking site. I gave up on MySpace a long time ago, and I'm starting to get real sick of Facebook and all the useless apps and other changes they've made over the last couple years. This is a great idea.

Rich,

I like how Alan McLeod addresses this at his A Good Beer Blog:
""Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy." -- Benjamin Franklin...sorta".

Good job on this site!
